Jobs Report - December 2023

• Employment across all industries is up 2.2% from last year and up 0.1% from last month.
• The economy gained 187K jobs from last month
• Employment in the Hospitality industry is  up 4.4% from last year and up 0.1% from last month.
• The Hospitality industry is growing the fastest as recovery from travel restrictions continues
• Construction employment has also increased more than average over the prior year
• Legal and Financial related industries have shown steady growth throughout the prior years
